Cozy Mysteries & Romantic Histories

For Writers

The very best advice I can give a writer just starting out is "Get thee to a writing conference."
Why? Besides the fact that you'll sit under great instruction and learn more than your brain can absorb, you can also make appointments with agents and editors. Chances are, you won't sell your first story, but you will get a chance to experience how the whole thing works. You'll meet and network with other writers, those starting out just like you, authors who've published some books and are on their way, and New York Times Bestselling authors. Everyone has a story about how they started out. And if you're called to be a writer, this is where your story will begin.
